In this video, there are two kinds of total different lives of two children. One is living in a big house, and he goes to school to get his education. The other one is living in a small dark and dirty place, and he have to work every day and have no chance to get education. The music of this video very fits the plot. The music is lively, but in the music there is a heavy tempo with the song. It seems like to tell the people to think about the life—when we are in the good environment, have we ever thought about that it still has another opposite life in this world. I thought this is a compelling argument as it let us to have a chance to see a different kind of life that we never ever have a chance to experience it. The difference is so big that it makes me felt sad about it. For this video I thought it has made two kinds of appeals, one is telling us that we should be content the things we got and the lives we have; the other point wants us to pay attentions to the children who are having the unfair life, and also it wants us to help them.

I think that we do take for granted the things we have. There are many who expect to have cell phones and computers, while other in the world don’t know when their next meal will come.
ReplyDeleteJia, good point about being grateful for what we have AND for being aware of and finding a way to help people who live in such desperate situations. It is a very sad message, I agree with you there. So.... the obvious question is, what can we do to help people like the child who's making the shoes? Thank you for your comments.
ReplyDeleteGreat response...and I agree we never see things for what they really are until it's pointed out to us..Americans are spoiled to a point...so its not something we really think about because it doesnt affect us directly...but in many ways it does..because if it werent kids like that we would not supply and demand in our country at other peoples cost...The song very much goes with the video and it helps point out the deeper meaning that is supposed to send when you watch it! Great response! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteHey that's just how it is right? some people born into this world believing that life should be fair all the time. We all know now at this point " Life is fair" doesn't exist and that being said, we should just live our lives and take our time and enjoy it no matter how bad things may seem. Life for those children who do labor is just sad thinking about, but visually appealing presentation of it is a lot worse than I thought.
