Bolg #2

We should have the freedom of speech and wearing clothes, but it never means that we can ignore other people’s feeling. To speak something and to wear some clothes are the ways that we show our thoughts out. For the video of “Obama t-shirt”, I think the school does not have the right to let the boy put off the t-shirt, as the boy just wanted to show his points about the fact that “Obama became the new president”. But the “Redneck” t-shirt was not showing a fact. It just showed a point of view that some people have—not all people think that is true. Also, the word “Redneck” may hurt someone’s feeling—which is not a part of the freedom of speech.

  1. I agree with you.The freedom of speech should always go together with freedom of expression as long as this person is not "pointing fingers" to someone. Just my opinion!

  2. i agree with what you are saying. if the t-shirts were threatening to others then the students should not have been able to wear the shirts.

  3. I agree with you on the redneck shirt. Some might be offended by it but I dont think it should be an issue with the Obama t-shirt because not everyone is going to like our new president but thats tough. Not everyone liked Bush. I just think they are banning the t-shirt because its a racial issue.
